UNIFORM CODE

Uniforms may be purchased through Shaheen’s Uniforms in Louisville or they may also be purchased online at landsend.com.

Girl’s Uniform  

Required Performance/Ceremony uniform (JrK-4th)

  • Classic Navy Large Plaid jumper from Lands End or Plaid #37 Jumper from Shaheen’s, must be knee length, from Lands End or Shaheen’s only

  • White Woven Peter Pan blouse

  • White tights or white knee socks

  • Navy or black Mary Janes, other ballet flats-leather or suede dress shoes 

Required Performance/Ceremony uniform (5th-8th)

  • Classic Navy Large Plaid Skirt from Lands End or Plaid #37 Uniform Skirt from Shaheen’s, must be knee length, from Lands End or Shaheen’s only

  • Female White Oxford with white buttons, tucked in

  • Navy Acrylic V-neck cardigan, with Veritas logo,  from Shaheen’s only

  • Plaid #37 Cross Tie with pearl button, from Shaheen’s only

  • Navy tights or navy knee socks

  • Navy or black Mary Janes, other ballet flats-leather or suede dress shoes 

Required Performance/ Ceremony uniform (9th-12th)

  • Classic Navy Large Plaid Skirt from Lands End or Plaid #37 Uniform Skirt from Shaheen’s, must be knee length, from Lands End or Shaheen’s only

  • Female White Oxford with white buttons, tucked in

  • Navy blazer, from Shaheen’s or Lands’ End only

  • Plaid #37 Cross Tie with pearl button, from Shaheen’s only

  • Navy tights or navy knee socks

  • Navy or black Mary Janes, other ballet flats-leather or suede dress shoes

Daily uniform (JrK–12th):

  • Performance/Ceremony uniform

  • Khaki or navy uniform jumper, must be knee length, no embellishments, no monograms or logos except for Veritas logo, for JrK-4 only

  • Navy or red, long sleeve or short sleeve uniform polo dress, must be knee length, no embellishments, no monograms or  logos except for Veritas logo,  for JrK-4 only

  • Flat front khaki or navy pants, not tight fitting, no skinny, shirt tucked in with belt 

  • Khaki or navy skirts, must be knee length (A-line or pleated)

  • Leggings may be worn under skirts for added warmth, they must be solid navy, no patterns

  • Cartwheel/playground shorts are highly recommended for all dresses and skirts

  • Brown or black braided, or smooth leather belt, to match shoe color

  • Short or long sleeve polo shirt, tucked in - white, navy or red

  • Short or long sleeve button down, tucked in –  solid-colored white, navy, and red

  • Navy or white cardigan sweater, no hoods

  • VERITAS spirit wear, worn over approved uniform, and plain navy, gray, or red jacket or sweatshirt, no hood or large lettering or logos, are also approved items for daily wear, ABSOLUTELY NO HOODIES

  • Black, brown or navy Mary Janes or other ballet flats, leather or suede dress shoes, or boots

  • White or navy tights or knee socks

  • Tennis shoes 

  • No flip flops, of any kind, can be worn at any time at school

  • JrK-2nd only do not need to wear a belt on non-ceremony days 

  • No shorts 

PE (9th Grade)

  • Shorts, must be fingertip length, loose athletic pants, or sweatpants

  • T-shirts,  or sweatshirts, no hood

  • Athletic shoes

  • No tank tops, crop tops, leggings or yoga pants

Spirit Wear

  • Daily uniform pieces

  • Veritas logo purchased spirit wear

  • Plain navy, red, or gray long or short sleeve t-shirts or sweatshirts, no hoods or large lettering or logos 

  • Jeans, absolutely no holes or tears, no super skinny, must be able to pinch fabric

  • No shorts

Boy’s Uniform

Required Performance/Ceremony uniform (JrK-6th):

  • Flat front or pleated navy pants, with belt

  • Long sleeve white oxford shirt with white buttons, tucked in

  • Brown or black, braided or smooth leather belt, to match shoe color

  • Plaid #37 bowtie, from Shaheen’s only

  • Leather or suede dress shoes, solid black or brown with dark soles, no sneaker style shoes

Required Performance/Ceremony uniform (7th-12th):

  • Flat front or pleated khaki pants, with belt

  • Long sleeve white oxford shirt with white buttons, tucked in

  • Brown or black, braided or smooth leather belt, to match shoe color

  • Plaid #37  bowtie, from Shaheen’s only

  • Navy blazer, from Shaheen’s or Lands’ End only

  • Leather or suede dress shoes, solid black or brown with dark soles

Daily uniform  (JrK–12th):

  • Flat front pleated khaki or navy pants, shirt tucked in with belt

  • Short or long sleeve button down, tucked in – solid-colored white, navy, or red

  • Navy crew neck sweater, no hood

  • VERITAS spirit wear, worn over approved uniform, and plain navy, gray, or red  jacket or sweatshirt, no hood or large lettering or logos, are also approved items for daily wear, ABSOLUTELY NO HOODIES

  • Solid black or brown shoes with dark soles

  • Tennis shoes

  • No flip flops, of any kind, can be worn at any time at school

SPIRIT WEAR DAYS

  • Students may wear appropriate jeans and school purchased spirit wear.  Spirit Wear Days are usually the last Tuesday or Thursday of each month and are found on the school calendar.
